NEW IMPROVED UNIT with ECU and New Switches. No Cables!

TPI redesigned the Vintage Air unit back in 1989 and again in 2017! The 2017 update includes new control switches, ECU unit, electronic servo motor and newly styled air outlets. Specifically designed to fit the 1975-83 2F FJ40. Unit comes with all required mounting hardware. You furnish the 134 freon and belt for your application. Works with or without OEM or TPI power steering. New bracket mounts alternator and compressor on passenger side. Replaces the stock heater and fits nicely under the dash for factory look. Plenty of vents for driver and passenger. Excellent heater with defrost and can be used with factory optional rear heater.

Special notes: #1, Will fit the 69-74 engine when upgraded with the 1975-up harmonic pulley and dual pulley water pump. #2, Will not fit the 68 and earlier engine with press-on pulley. #3,TPI offers the complete Heavy-Duty Fan Kit fan/pump/clutch/pulley system #16361-4 found under “Cooling” section. The H/D Fan kit will fit the 1969-87 2F engine for extra cooling applications. #4, V-8 applications see #T1300-2. Will fit 2 pulley Diesel units however customer must make bracket for compressor.
