Original Toyota H55 5 speed with Shifter INCLUDED, found in non-USA models. (Transfer cast not included). Once you have driven a 5 speed you’ll never go back to a 4. A pretty simple bolt-in on FJ60 and 62 models with very few modifications. FJ40 models must start with 4 speed components like flywheel, bell housing, clutch and linkage, then you must supply a split transfer case from an 8008-90 model. We prefer an 86-up transfer-case with 38mm idler shaft, transfer-case shift linkage and if you really want to be tricky like us, install the vacuum shifter from an FJ62. 1980-83 will need to adjust your drive shafts length.
