The Softest Ride and Lowest Height on the market. TPI is reintroducing our 2″ Smoky Mountain Soft Ride Suspension. Kit comes complete with front and rear springs, 24 bushings, front and rear anti-reverse greasable shackles, 4 greasable frame pins, 8 u-bolts, 4 hydraulic shocks. TPI dropped this kit years ago because most customers were installing 4+” kits and huge tires banging their Cruisers on the trails. Today, because the value of Land Cruisers is rising dramatically, customers are looking to restore their Cruisers and lower their suspensions often using stock wheels and hubcaps for that original look.

We carefully designed this kit for the softest ride possible. Spring rate is much softer than the 4” kit. But don’t let that fool you. Our 2″ Soft Ride kit has plenty of movement to go off road. Shocks are designed for stability, anti reverse shackles and frame pins are greasable. We can’t make this kit any smoother and still hold the Cruiser up off the tires. Recommended tire size is from 29″ stock to 33″. 31×10:50 is perfect. If you’re looking for the softest ride and lowest height, this is the kit specifically designed for that purpose. Fits up to 8007. Will not fit 1981 and later.

I haven’t been able to truly enjoy the new suspension until this last weekend. All I can say is WOW. The suspension is truly the softest I’ve ever experienced in a 40. Bob, I called last month looking to lower my one owner 78 cruiser. Your recommendation on the 2″ soft ride kit was spot on. Easy to get in and actually stays in the road. I took your suggestion of installing your Land Cruiser stock rims and hub caps on 31×10:50 BFG Mudders. I also installed the TPI power steering kit and feel like an idiot for not doing it years ago. I actually enjoy driving my cruiser for the first time. Next project is your 5 speed and air conditioner just as soon as I can find a buyer for one of my kidneys. You guys rock!, Glen
